Plastic 1/48 Ki-84-IA Hayate Frank Airplane Kit from Tamiya. It's a single-engine, single-seat, Japanese Army fighter powered by an 18-cylinder HA-45 Hoshi engine. The Hayate proved highly effective when intercepting American B-29s bombing the Japanese mainland.
FEATURES:
Detailed 1/48th scale plastic kit for static display. Markings included for 4 different aircraft. Appx. 50 parts in light grey and clear with raised and recessed panel lines. Detailed Hoshi engine and cowling, wheel wells, and main landing gear. Four blade prop can be made to rotate. Cockpit detail: the seat, cockpit tub, rear bulkhead, sidewalls, decal for instrument faces, and seated pilot figure. Fuselage drop tank included. Allied code name "Frank".
