The La-11 and shape and body structure La-9 are basically the same, the main improvement is to increase the oil reserves in the plane. Weaponry changed three NR-23 type 23 mm cannon. La-11 in the late 1940s, was a more advanced flight performance piston aircraft. The first flight was in May 1947.
