The Atlas Master 73' Center-Partition (Centerbeam) Flatcar is based on cars first delivered in 1986 and over 40,000 have been built. The 73' Center Partition Car is designed to load, transport and unload lumber, gypsum board and other construction products efficiently. The AAR mechanical designation for this type of car is "FBC." This model features accurate details, wire grab irons, etched-metal and wire parts as appropriate, correct trucks with free-rolling wheelsets, fine paint, crisp lettering and magnetic knuckle couplers. Curves of 22" radius or larger are recommended for reliable operation of the 73' Center-Partition (Centerbeam) Flatcar.

Atlas 73" Centerbeam

First, I want to thank Eugene Toy and Hobby shipping this model so quickly. I moved from Eugene several years ago and rely on ET&H's excellent on-line ordering.
This Atlas Master is a high quality, great looking model. I especially like the seperately applied grab irons and ladders. The fact that it is Williamette and Pacific is icing on the case.
We see a lot of thesc CB cars in Oregon, loaded southbound and empty north. I had to weather the model a few days after I got it. It just looked to dang nice! (But it looks even better now.)
