Prevent wildfires with one of these sturdy towers standing guard. Based on a standard plan for a metal tower from 1938, hundreds were built all across the US and served into the 1960s. Model features photo-etched stainless steel construction, and can be built up to 8" (about 100 scale feet) tall without special tools or solder. Includes 12 see-through stairways with fine handrails and wood-textured platforms, a 10 x 10' cabin with panel and rivet details, optional parts for a hip or flat roof, radio antenna, window visors, directional peak vent, 2 x 2" laser-cut "concrete" base and full-color illustrated instructions.
