1/48 Scale Plastic AD-6 Skyraider Airplane from Tamiya.
Design work on the A-1 Skyraider began in 1943 when a new single seat
attack aircraft was required by the U.S. Navy. Although it did not see action
in WWII, the A-1 was produced in quantity and provided valuable service in both
Korea and Vietnam where it was used to supress enemy action around downed
aviators while they were being rescued.
