Details:

For some background on the first Chrysler 300 (1955) and a look at Moebius Models' kit of that car, look here. The 1956 300B was very similar to the previous year's model with the exception of distinctive tail fins on the rear fenders. The Chrysler engineers didn't stop there, the engine was also modified from 331 cubic inches in 1955 to 354 cubic inches in 1956. Two versions of that engine were offered that year with the optional 355hp engine becoming the first American car to produce one horsepower per cubic inch. Moebius Models has followed up their beautiful Chysler 300 kit released over a year ago with the next model year, the 300B. The kit is molded in light gray styrene and presented on 12 parts trees plus separate body, floor, and chassis frame. Four of the gray trees are chrome plated and one addition tree of clear parts and a set of tampo-printed whitewall tires round out the kit.
