New 3s Brushless Horsepower
Slash’s new Velineon® 3s power system is a brushless powerhouse that transforms 11.1 volts of LiPo power into brutal acceleration and 50+ mph speed, out of the box with no gearing changes required. The fan-cooled VX3 speed control is feature-packed and simple to use with Traxxas EZ-Set® one-button programming. The powerful V3200 motor is a model of efficiency with internal fan cooling for long run times.
New GTR Shocks
Slash’s ultra-plush ride comes courtesy of new composite GTR shocks on all four corners. GTR shocks hold over 70% more oil than standard Ultra Shocks for consistent damping and a premium feel. X-ring seals keep oil in and dirt out for smooth suspension compression and rebound. Spring preload and ride height changes are as simple as turning the threaded collar and the spring retainers are captured with a screw so they can't pop off.
New Metal-Gear Servo
Slash needs a fast and powerful steering servo to match the quick reflexes and agile handling of its low-CG chassis. Slash receives a new metal-gear servo for superior strength and durability along with an improved bellcrank steering assembly. The bellcrank’s cam-operated servo saver enhances steering precision and protects the servo from impacts.
New Aerodynamic Body
With a top speed of over 50 mph, Slash must fight the wind to maintain its high-speed performance. Slash’s new aerodynamic body cuts through the air and increases downforce to deliver incredible straight-line stability. Heavy-duty clipless latches hold the body tightly for rough-and-tumble action, but release in just seconds for fast battery swaps.

Slash 2WD Brushless requires a single 2-cell or 3-cell LiPo battery.
- Charger
The Traxxas EZ-Peak® charger 2970 is recommended for easy and fast charging performance.
- AA Alkaline Batteries
Four AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter.
